Are you an experienced Registered Nurse looking for an exciting short-term placement in South Australia?
We are seeking ED, acute, and generalist nurses for 4–12 week contracts across regional and rural SA hospitals.
This is your chance to gain hands-on experience, work independently, and make a real impact in diverse clinical settings.
About the Roles:
- Work across Emergency Departments, Medical, Surgical, and general wards
- Exposure to high-acuity and complex presentations
- Responsibilities include triage, resuscitation, ALS, advanced nursing care, and independent clinical decision-making
- Ideal for nurses seeking variety, autonomy, and rural or regional experience
Locations Include:
- Whyalla: Modern ED & 6-bed HDU, part of the Flinders & Upper North Local Health Network
- Port Lincoln: Busy 4-bed ED, 24-bed medical & surgical wards, negative pressure rooms
- Streaky Bay: 10 inpatient beds, ED, general medicine, surgical, rehab & palliative care
- Yorketown: Small rural hospital with 16 acute beds, 4 ED beds, resuscitation & triage focus
- Other regional towns across South Australia

Requirements:
- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
- Recent experience in ED, acute, or generalist nursing
- ALS, triage, and resuscitation skills required
- Competent in IV therapy, cannulation, ECG, wound care, and general ward duties
- Flexible, adaptable, and able to work rotating shifts including nights and weekends
- Confidence working independently in rural or regional hospital settings
